The Halia Residential Services program for individuals with developmental and behavioral disabilities provides either in home care and life skills coaching, or residential care in the Halia Residential home. Our one-on-one life skills coaching service is available for individuals living alone or with family in our community. The primary goal is to support each person in his or her efforts to achieve their potential for maximum independence at home.
Individuals with constant care needs will find the support they need in our Residential Home. After an initial assessment, a support plan is developed, and includes specific goals for training and improvement with daily living skills, transportation, medication management, and social skills. Our professional staff provides supervision and specific training activities that assist your loved one in acquiring, maintaining and improving skills related to activities of daily living. This includes personal hygiene skills such as bathing and oral hygiene, homemaking skills such as food preparation, vacuuming and laundry, and social and adaptive skills that enable the individual to reside in the community.
Our Residential Home program accommodates individuals around the clock, and ensures their health, safety and well being and provides food, shelter, daily activities, scheduling and transportation to medical appointments.
