It can give family and friends peace of mind, knowing that their loved one is getting the attention and support he or she deserves.

Our Home health aids and CNAs offer important personal care including bathing, dressing, transferring, feeding, and assistance with medically oriented tasks, and exercise routines, all while promoting independence. And, our caregivers are highly trained and capable of handling emergency situations. Personal Care visits are as often as necessary – for short or 24-hour live-in care.

When daily household tasks become more difficult for you or a loved one as a result of an illness or injury, disability, or simply part of the aging process, a little extra support can make a world of difference. Our Personal Care service provides the support necessary to help maintain an independent living environment.

  • The Halia Residential Services program for individuals with developmental and behavioral disabilities provides either in-home care and life skills coaching, or residential care in the Halia Residential home. Our one-on-one life skills coaching service is available for individuals living alone or with family in our community. The primary goal is to support each person in his or her efforts to achieve their potential for maximum independence at home.

Individuals with constant care needs will find their support in our Residential Home. After an initial assessment, a support plan is developed and includes specific goals for training and improvement with daily living skills, transportation, medication management, and social skills. Our professional staff provides supervision and specific training activities that assist your loved one in acquiring, maintaining, and improving skills related to activities of daily living. This includes personal hygiene skills such as bathing and oral hygiene, homemaking skills such as food preparation, vacuuming, and laundry, and social and adaptive skills that enable the individual to reside in the community.

Our Residential Home program accommodates individuals around the clock, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being, providing food, shelter, daily activities, and scheduling and transportation to medical appointments.

  • The challenges of caring for an elderly, chronically ill, or disabled family member may simply be a part of daily life, but it is a demanding role and no one is equipped to do it alone. It’s normal to need a break. Remember that respite services can benefit the patient as well as the caregiver.

Our Respite Care Service provides short-term breaks that can relieve stress, restore energy, and promote balance in your life. Respite care can be for an ill or special needs adult or an adult with Alzheimer’s or Dementia.

Call us today and we will schedule respite care for you on a regular basis or just one time to give you the break you need. Our services may be arranged for a weekend, a day, or even for an hour.
